David is an expert in school administration, education law and ethics, and an experienced education expert witness. As such, he applies his practical experience as a PK-12 and higher education teacher, coach, and administrator; his extensive academic preparation; and his meticulous research skills to cases that involve standards of care in education settings and in the education of students. David provides his expertise to all facets of litigation, from inception (research, case evaluation, record review, discovery assistance, site observations, report writing, & deposition testimony) to conclusion (open court testimony).
David's experience as an expert witness has focused on issues of sexual harassment/abuse and physical abuse of students, particularly under Title IX; and on the hiring, retention, and supervision of educators. Additional areas of experience include student rights, bullying, special education, negligence, and educator employment.
